Last year Wesleyan rocked all white helmets with simple decals. In 2013, they add another relatively simple helmet, but this time around it’s in red. All white “W” decals, and mohawk stripes stand out, and smaller “Cards” stickers on the visor add a nice detailed touch:

So shiny.

I can’t think of a college team in New England that won’t be wearing these in 2013.

I’m as biased as they come, but I think this helmet is incredibly sharp looking. The decal work was done by 14 Graphics, and if you want a Sandy Hook ribbon decal of your own, they have you covered. Operating out of CT, for both 14 Graphics and Wesleyan, it only makes sense.

The NESCAC opens their season practices tomorrow, February 15th, nearly a month after most programs start up, due to NESCAC rules. We’re hearing some big rumors out the of the NESCAC already, including a young goalie emerging at Colby, a year of running for Tufts, and a big recruit landed by Wesleyan, coming out of California!
